The new site has welcomed several of the regions standout Superyachts for repairs, refits & maintenance since opening February 2020.
The $100 million development over the last 12 mths has brought way to increased site capacity boosting the overall site for vessel maintenance to be the largest in the Southern hemisphere.
The flagship yard is world class, catering to up to 50 x Superyachts throughout the new marina, refit super sheds and expansive hardstand.
Starting such a project from a blank canvas has enable the owner Longhurst to create more than just a shipyard but a true luxury resort for the welcomed vessels. Great attention to detail & care with the planning, i.e. orientation of the north facing sheds along with the environmental aspects or surrounding bio-gardens, water harvesting and waste filtration & treatment throughout the establishment truly sets the standards for the flagship shipyard.
Each superyacht shed has been fitted with high bay LED lighting and dedicated air-conditioned work office suites with ensuite facilities, providing ideal working conditions for long projects. The surrounding green-scapes of manicured lawns, palms and citrus trees make up the beautiful landscape and create a welcoming environment to work within. Every aspect has been planned and designed to offer an experience.
The purpose build VIP Captain’s Club Lounge is a two-story VIP reception and lounge that greets Owners and Captains directly from their superyacht. The full concierge experience continues whilst our shipyard crew take care of the vessels and our client go on to enjoy the Boat Works hospitality whilst taking in the panoramic views of the yard.
Our extensive range of superyacht services and amenities include:
• Purpose-built super refit sheds featuring private, lockable, ensuited work offices, high bay LED lighting, double-lined internal sheeting and screening
• Expansive hardstand areas with access to water and hi-phase power
