The North Coast Speedboat Classics return for their SHOW DAY in 2026, displaying various models and makes in front of Garage 25 and Espresso Twenty5 Café at The Boat Works.
Bringing together a passionate community of classic speedboat enthusiasts, the group now boasts close to 5,000 members and hosts regular events and river runs throughout the year. Their mission is simple — celebrate the craftsmanship, nostalgia and thrill of older-style speedboats while connecting like-minded boaties.
“We love bringing people together to share their passion and enjoy their boats,” says Club President, Jeff Reardon. “It’s not uncommon for members to reconnect with people they haven’t seen in decades. We don’t race… although sometimes the adrenaline has other ideas!”
From 10am to 3pm, Espresso Twenty5 cafe will welcome members and the public for a standout day. Around 50 classic speedboats will be on display, representing more than 20 iconic brands.
“This is a dream day out for classic boat enthusiasts,” adds Jeff. “Alongside the boats, visitors can enjoy an incredible collection of vintage and classic Boats, plus great food & coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.”
On Sunday, participating boats will launch from the Gold Coast’s Santa Barbara boat ramp at approximately 10am, for a fun run event – weather permitting.
