QLD Premier Riviera dealer joins The Boat Works
Directors, Randall and Melinda Jones and the team from R Marine Jones have taken up occupancy of their new headquarters in The DOCK, waterfront at The Boat Works.
From 1 August, the team of 12 covering Riviera sales, service and support will move into a purpose-built showroom and offices upstairs overlooking the superyacht basin, while the service hub and logistics will be downstairs for easy access to the motor yachts and deliveries.
Randall Jones from R Marine Jones said, “R Marine Jones has been a principal dealer of the Riviera and Belize marques for many years, with our sales and service office adjacent to the Riviera factory.
“The DOCK is a big move for us, despite it being literally next door to our former base.
“Our brand-new premises will be a full Riviera service facility for customers – new and brokerage boats on permanent display – in luxurious, tropical surrounds. The DOCK gives us a superb, north-facing view of the boats we sell, and we’re adjacent to the Riviera factory so owners can visit Riviera within minutes.”

“Owners will enjoy access to value-added out-of-water experiences onsite, such as the Chandlery Superstore and Marine Retail showrooms, and can take their time and savour the amazing ambience and cuisine at Kokomo Kitchen & Bar, The Galley or Espresso Twenty5 and Garage 25 car museum. There’s even a barber and hair salon on-site!”
Following an extremely successful Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Randall and his team are looking forward to hosting a variety of owner events and activities, welcoming new owners into the Riviera family.
“We will organise owner events, both educational and social, which we will be able to host at The Dock overlooking the marina.
“There are many new boat orders that will be delivered and commissioned over the next few years, and we would like to extend the opportunity for new owners to visit us here and gradually undertake a program of boating education over an extended period of time before their boats arrive for delivery, allowing our owners handover and briefing to then be a full reminder course on both operation and systems.”
Randall continues, “We are also looking forward to starting our boating events from The Dock, celebrating with drinks and a party, then leaving from here, heading out of the Coomera River and off to Moreton Bay as a fleet.”
R Marine Jones’ recent event to take place was the Winter Weekend, 28 to 30 July, where owners traveled to Peel Island in Moreton Bay.
“With 30 motor yachts booked, which is around 70 to 80 people, it’s always a great opportunity to get out and use our yachts, welcome new owners, help them to better understand how to use and enjoy their boating!” says Randall.
“In September, we head to K’gari (Fraser Island), and in late February or March, we host the trip to Kooringal and the Moreton Bay area, which is a fantastic summer escape.”
Most of all, Randall and Melinda are looking forward to the opportunities that will arise working within a marina surrounded by other trades and marine specialists. “Being located within The Boat Works, with all the facilities all in one place, will enhance our customer experience,” he says.
