Marina Operations / Customer Service Administrator

About the Role

The Boat Works is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Marina Berth / Customer Service Administrator to be the first point of contact for vessel owners, captains, crew, and contractors. This role is central to ensuring seamless day-to-day marina berth & boatyard operations while delivering a premium customer experience across the facility.

Full Time | Monday – Friday |  7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all front-of-house enquiries, bookings, and customer interactions (phone, email, in-person)
  • Coordinate marina berth arrivals, departures, in-water berthing, and haul-out scheduling
  • Liaise with onsite trades, contractors, captains, and vessel owners to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain accurate records, invoicing, daily logs, and administrative systems
  • Conduct utilities and meter reading checks and audits
  • Work collaboratively with shipyard and office teams to manage bookings and workflow
  • Deliver high-level customer service and clear communication to all stakeholders
  • Uphold The Boat Works’ standards across presentation, service, and operations

About You

  • Marina berth skills and knowledge is essential for the role
  • Highly organised with strong administrative capability
  • Exceptional customer service and clear communication skills
  • Able to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced marine environment
  • Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident using booking systems and Microsoft Office
  • Practical marine experience, including vessel handling, mooring, and line work
  • Previous experience in a marina, boatyard, or service-based industry (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a polished and professional presentation
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet operational demands and varying hours
