Club Marine is the latest high-profile tenant to take up residency at The Boat Works. The custom-built Queensland Office for the insurance and publishing powerhouse is an impressive two storey premises boasting light and bright, open-plan offices for seven employees, with a large board room and views to the water.
“It made sense to move to the boating hub of Coomera,” said Club Marine CEO, Simon McLean. “We are near our repairers and manufacturing partners, close to Gold Coast City Marina and the thriving Coomera marine precinct which is destined to grow. “We have extremely strong relationships with Tony Longhurst and The Boat Works, and we have been well looked after by the entire team.” Simon continued “The more we deal with The Boat Works, the closer we get.
Their management team shares the same passion and vision, and the ability to execute their plans. This is not a short-term strategy, it’s a long-term plan. Being equidistant from the Queensland boating hubs we can deliver better outcomes for our members.”
Shane Subichin, General Manager at The Boat Works, said welcoming Club Marine to the facility was part of the next phase of development. “There are a few exciting new showrooms under construction on this side of The Boat Works, including new trades and boat brands.
“Works are already underway for The Boat Works North – which represents a massive expansion, effectively doubling our footprint. By December, the new 50-berth marina will be ready and waiting for cruising cats and other vessels making their way north and south over the summer.”
