Boating Community Comes Together at The Boat Works
The Boat Works was proud to welcome more than 200 guests to the Superyacht Yard on Friday 7 August 2026 for the Alongside Pantaenius Australia and Sanctuary Cove Marina Networking Event — an evening dedicated to connection, community and celebrating the boating lifestyle.
Bringing together customers and guests from Sanctuary Cove Marina, Pantaenius Australia and The Boat Works, the event provided a relaxed opportunity for boat owners, industry professionals and marine businesses to connect while experiencing The Boat Works after hours.
Set against the impressive backdrop of the Superyacht Yard and Captains Lounge, guests enjoyed live music, food and beverages, raffles and plenty of opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and build new relationships across the marine community.
Supporting partners on the evening included Aqualuma, Altex Yacht & Boat Paint and Marine Trade Supplies & Chandlery.
Among the raffle prizes was a generous supply of Altex Hydrocoat water-based antifouling, while one lucky Sanctuary Cove Marina berth holder also walked away with $1,000 worth of complimentary hardstand at The Boat Works.
A special thank you goes to Sanctuary Cove Marina for supplying wine and beverages, Gold Coast Motor Museum for catering support, the Ansett Pioneer Bus, and Carl from Aqualuma for his contribution to the evening’s food and hospitality.
Most importantly, congratulations and thanks to Jamie and Michaela from Pantaenius Australia for driving the initiative and creating an event that brought so many members of the boating community together.
Pantaenius Australia is proudly based onsite at The Boat Works, providing boat owners with convenient access to specialist marine insurance advice. Visitors to the yard are always welcome to drop in for a coffee and a chat with the Pantaenius team about their marine insurance needs.
For The Boat Works, events such as these are an important part of supporting the broader marine community and creating stronger connections between boat owners, businesses and industry professionals.
